Marin Store Clerk Busted For Selling Booze To Minor: Cops
The employee was caught during a Novato police operation.

NOVATO, CA -- A store clerk in Novato was cited after selling alcohol to a minor decoy. Police said the incident happened during an operation on April 15 where officers entered three businesses that sold alcohol.
Employees at two businesses refused to selling alcohol to the minor decoy, while the third, Miwok Shell Gas Station, did, police said.
Cyrus Cardinale, 19, of Novato, was issued a misdemeanor citation for the violation and will have to appear in court. The business may face administrative actions as the incident is the second time in four months they have sold alcohol to a minor decoy, police said.

During this operation, police said officers witnessed the exchange of several pounds of marijuana occur in the parking lot of 7-Eleven at 700 Redwood Blvd.
Tim Melchior, 31, of San Rafael, and Jing Wu, 33, of Santa Rosa, were both cited for misdemeanor possession of marijuana for sales. Alexis Simon, 24, of Novato, was cited for possession of concentrated cannabis while in a motor vehicle.
