Nightly Lane Closures Scheduled On US 101 Through Sunday
More overnight work is scheduled to repair damage from a March landslide near Redwood Boulevard in Marin County.

NOVATO, CA — Caltrans crews will close the far-left lane of Highway 101 near Novato during the overnight hours this weekend, allowing work repairs to continue to repair slide damage near Redwood Boulevard and Buck Center Drive.
Here is the schedule:
- US-101 Northbound, Friday, April 28 from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. on Saturday morning
- US-101 Southbound, Saturday, April 29 from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Sunday morning
- US-101 Northbound, Sunday, April 30 from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Monday morning
PG&E crews have been working on the northern portion of the slide area, and Caltrans does not expect significant traffic impacts for the latest closure. However, officials ask drivers to stay alert and slow down while traveling through the construction zone.

Bicycle access parallel to the highway near Novato and Petaluma will remain closed while Caltrans and P&E work in the landslide area, and Redwood remains closed to all cyclists and vehicles until repairs are complete.
