Novato PD Searches For Package Theft Suspect
Police shared photos of a woman carrying what appears to be a food tray who investigators believe stole several packages from a doorstep.

NOVATO, CA — Novato police are searching for the person who stole packages from a doorstep on Laurelwood Drive and have shared home surveillance photos of a woman they believe is responsible.
The photos show a woman in a medical mask standing at the door and carrying what appears to be an aluminum dish. Police said the woman took several packages from the home Tuesday evening in what appeared to be an isolated incident.
Investigators used the case to share a few package theft reminders for the holiday season, encouraging residents to keep their lights on at night, keep track of delivery schedules, and report anything suspicious.
