NOVATO, CA — The Margaret Todd Senior Center has finally reopened.
The center at 1560 Hill Rd. opened its doors Monday for the first time since Marin went under shelter orders amid the pandemic nearly 18 months ago.
The center will be open during regular business hours and also on evenings and weekends for scheduled programs and events.

Center memberships from 2020 will be honored through the remainder of 2021, city officials said,
Applications for membership for 2021 are now being accepted.

The center is run by the city’s Parks, Recreation and Community Services (PRCS) Department.
“Many of our community members and staff have been looking forward to the reopening of our senior center,” PRCS Deputy Director Katie Gauntlett said in a statement.
“We know our community will be happy to see the return of some of their favorite classes and activities. Additional programs will be announced in our Fall Activity Guide in August.”
