She is expected to undergo her second surgery this week according to the report.

A Spanish-language news outlet reports a woman in 2018 was attacked by a crocodile on the same Puerto Vallarta beach according to ABC 7 News.

A GoFundMe drive has been created to help Hummel cover medical expenses.

Eliam Estrada, a friend of Hummel, organized the GoFundMe.

“With this amazing second chance at life brings a long road to recovery, healing and emotional trauma,” Estrada wrote on Hummel’s GoFundMe page.

“Her and her mother cannot work to care for the wounds around the clock, and as we all know bills such as rent, car payments, food, out of pocket medical expenses will still be needed.

“She is also starting her first semester in college and will need a lot of assistance. Please help me help her and her family in these pressing traumatic times as I know if the tables were turned Kiana would not hesitate to help or start a go fund me for anyone of her close friends or family.”
