Novato's Bell Ringing Competition Is Saturday
Novato firefighters and police officers will participate in a friendly faceoff this weekend to help raise money for the Salvation Army.
NOVATO, CA — A holiday tradition returns to Novato this week, when members of the police and fire departments will compete to see who can raise the most money for a good cause.
The NFD vs NPD Annual Bell Ringing Competition will kick off at Pacheco Plaza Shopping Center on Saturday, between Nugget Market and Marin Coffee Roasters. That is where firefighters and officers will be facing off to see who can raise the most for the Salvation Army, beginning at 10 a.m.
Neighbors and visitors are invited to come show support and donate to the cause, which help supports families in need all year.
