PG&E Closes Road In Marin Again Day After Gas Leak
A gas leak forced a road closure Wednesday but the road was initially reopened.

NOVATO, CA — PG&E has closed a road in Novato Thursday to initiate repairs the day after a gas leak was reported in the same area, police said.
The Novato Police Department reported a gas leak around 5:32 p.m. Wednesday, police said. The NPD, the Novato Fire Department and PG&E responded to the gas leak in the area of Novato Boulevard and 7th Street, police said.
The NPD issued a shelter in place for the area and closed Novato Boulevard between Diablo Avenue and 7th Street. Later that evening the road was reopened with traffic control and delays were expected, police said.

On Thursday, police sent out an alert that the same section of street is closed again while PG&E initiates repairs. Police said they would send out an update when the road is reopened.
