The Marin County Board of Supervisors acknowledged the need to adjust the program in May, streaming eligibility requirements and eliminating corrective actions such as punitive elements that lower benefit amounts.
On July 1, the new eligibility requirements will be in effect. The change will start for current recipients at their next redetermination or when a new application is submitted.
