Teen Robbed In Marin County While Trying To Sell Personal Items: Police
A 16-year-old scheduled a meeting to sell some personal items but was robbed by the buyer, police said.
NOVATO, CA — A 16-year-old was robbed Thursday in Novato after setting up a meet with a buyer to sell personal items, police said.
At 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Novato Police Department officers said they learned that a robbery had occurred near Novato Boulevard and San Marin Drive.
A 16-year-old planned to sell personal items and scheduled a meeting with the buyer. During the sale, the victim was robbed, police said.

The suspects fled toward U.S. 101 at a high rate of speed on San Marin Drive in a white SUV, police said.
"Detectives are actively investigating this incident in coordination with Novato Unified School District. This incident appears to be isolated and there are no ongoing safety concerns with San Marin High School," police said.
