Woman Accused Of Stealing Dog, Attacking Owner And Pet In Marin County: Police

A woman is accused of entering someone's home and stealing a dog, police said.

MARIN COUNTY, CA — Sheriff's deputies arrested a woman Monday in Bolinas after she stole a neighbor's dog and then attacked it and the owner, police said.

Late Monday night, a witness called the dog's owner saying a woman had entered the owner's home and taken the dog, according to the Marin County Sheriff's Office.

The dog's owner said that he spotted his neighbor, Angela Rollins, 62, downtown with his dog in her car, police said.

The man took his dog back and then Rollins and the owner of the dog got into an argument about the dog's barking, police said.

Officers said that Rollins punched the man's face and kicked his dog.

Deputies arrested Rollins and booked her into the Marin County Jail on suspicion of cruelty to an animal, vandalism, burglary and battery.
