Woman Jailed on Suspicion of Ramming Truck with Her Car
Police investigate altercation on Carmel Avenue; bail set at $50,000 for Petaluma woman.

A Petaluma woman was arrested Monday near downtown Novato on suspicion of ramming her car several times into the truck of another man, police said.
Sandra Lynn Biernier, 43, was arrested by Novato police at 3:16 p.m. and booked into Marin County Jail at 4:20 p.m. following an investigation of an incident outside of 3 Carmel Dr. Witnesses told Novato police that Biernier was behind the wheel of a Toyota Scion when it was used to ram the victim's pickup truck as he tried to drive away, Sgt. Mike Howard said. No one was injured.
The incident was called in quickly and Biernier was arrested. Biernier faces possible charges of battery on a cohabitant or spouse and assault without a firearm or force with great bodily injury.

The assault allegation is a felony, and her bail was set at $50,000.
