2 Arrested In String Of Oceanside Burglaries
Nearly three dozen burglaries took place in the downtown area and along the College Boulevard and Marron Road corridor, police said.

OCEANSIDE, CA — Two suspects were arrested in connection with nearly three dozen commercial burglaries last month in Oceanside, authorities said Thursday.
The string of burglaries took place throughout September in the downtown area and along the College Boulevard and Marron Road corridor, according to the Oceanside Police Department.
On Wednesday, investigators partnered with the Oceanside Police SWAT Team and served search warrants at multiple locations. According to the department, they recovered five stolen and illegal firearms, ammunition, high-capacity magazines, as well as stolen checks, credit cards, passports, identification cards and U.S. currency.

Police said reports from local businesses and surveillance footage led to the identification of the suspects. The suspects, whose names were not released, used a U-Haul truck during the burglaries, according to the department.
They were booked on suspicion of multiple felony charges, including grand theft, burglary, conspiracy, felon in possession of a firearm, prohibited person in possession of ammunition, and possession of stolen property.
