Winter Wonder Brings Beachside Cheer To San Diego's Belmont Park

SAN DIEGO, CA — The holidays are in full swing at San Diego's Belmont Park.

Winter Wonder at Belmont Park is back and brighter than ever at the beachfront amusement park in Mission Beach. The historic 100-year-old park has been decorated with thousands of lights and themed photo opportunities for the holiday season.

The park-wide festival features live weekend entertainment, family programming, and seasonal food and drink offerings.

Weekend highlights include Jingle Jams with DJs and musical performances, face painting and glitter tattoos for kids. Classic rides such as the park's wooden roller coaster, Giant Dipper, are open and decked out for the season.

The holiday cocktail pop-up experience, Winter Wonderland at Draft, has debuted with over-the-top holiday decor and collectible mugs. The pop-up serves handcrafted cocktails and seasonal treats that complement Belmont Park's beachside setting.

"Whether guests want family-friendly fun, a night out with friends, or an immersive holiday cocktail experience, there is something for everyone to enjoy," Maddison Sinclair, public relations manager at Belmont Park, told Patch.

Winter Wonder runs through Jan. 4 at Belmont Park, located at 3146 Mission Blvd. in San Diego.
