"We're excited to welcome the world's fastest-growing Western-wear brand and its second San Diego-market store to The Forum Carlsbad," said Ward Kampf, president of Northwood Retail. "Tecovas has been a first-mover and major catalyst in the western category. With North County's equestrian roots and proximity to Del Mar Racing and the Breeders' Cup, it's a natural fit for our community.
American lifestyle brand Abercrombie & Fitch will debut its new Carlsbad store in November.

The celebration for Tecovas will feature live music by Kevin Krieg from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, along with complimentary drinks and gift bags for the first 50 guests in line each day from Friday through Sunday. Shoppers can also enjoy complimentary leather stamping and branding to personalize their purchases in-store.
The Forum Carlsbad is on the corner of Calle Barcelona and Leucadia Boulevard in Carlsbad.
