The new location marks the 17th San Diego-area store for the bagel brand.

VISTA, CA — A national bagel chain has a new bakery in northern San Diego County.

Einstein Bros. Bagels opened their newest location this month in Vista. The bakery is known for its fresh-baked bagels, signature egg sandwiches and variety of shmears.

"It's a huge milestone for us to expand and now offer our fresh-baked breakfast in Vista," said Adam Modzel, chief operations officer of Einstein Bros. Bagels. "We always hear from guests on social media asking us to bring Einstein Bros. to their neighborhoods, and we are so happy to make it happen. Helping our guests own the morning, with fresh-baked bagels, made every morning and throughout the day, is what we are all about."
