COASTER Service Closure This Weekend From Oceanside To San Diego
All coastal rail line service is suspended between Oceanside Transit Center and Santa Fe Depot Jan 22-23, for routine infrastructure work.

OCEANSIDE, CA — North County Transit District will suspend all coastal rail line service between Oceanside and San Diego this weekend for routine maintenance and rail infrastructure work.
An Absolute Work Window (AWW) or coastal rail closure means there will be no COASTER or Amtrak service between Oceanside Transit Center and Santa Fe Depot. Please plan ahead to take other forms of transportation during this service interruption. There will be no replacement bus service connecting COASTER station stops. Alternatives for passengers who normally use the COASTER include BREEZE bus Route 101 or MTS connections.
Weekend rail closures like these occur periodically during the year on a pre-determined schedule. AWWs provide construction crews the opportunity to work safely and unimpeded on and along the rail line to perform improvements and maintenance work.

The rail will re-open for regularly scheduled COASTER and all other rail service in time for the morning commute on Monday. Please note that trains may be delayed up to fifteen minutes on this day.
