Grading has commenced on the Carmax Auto Superstore at Plaza Dr. west of Thunder Dr. on 10.5 acres adjacent to the Oceanside DMV.

Construction has commenced on the Oceanside East Shopping Center, a 23,700 sq. ft., six building project located at 3340 Mission Ave. Signed tenants include a 10,000 sq. ft. Super Star Carwash and a 2,100 sq. ft. 7 - Eleven and gas station.

Matsu, a modern Japanese restaurant recently opened at 626 S. Tremont St. in the former Flying Pig Pub & Kitchen.
Valle, a Guadalupe Valley dining experience, is led by award winning Chef Roberto Alcocer in the Mission Pacific Hotel at 222 N. Pacific St.
MAB Beauty Bar, spealizing in lash extensions, brow laminations, hair blow-outs and other beauty treatments located at 212 Artist Alley in Downtown Oceanside.
Blessed and Boujee, is a women’s clothing and accessories store located at 4171 Oceanside Blvd. in the Del Oro Marketplace shopping center.
Al Fresko, is a market, retail and wine shop located at 602 S. Tremont St. in the Tremont Collective Co-op.
Atacama Surf Shop, is an urban surf shop located at 602 S. Tremont St. in the Tremont Collective.
OCEANSIDE BUSINESS SPOTLIGHTS
Sea Hive Marketplace is Oceanside’s largest store selling vintage, antique, handmade, and new goods all under one roof. With over 13,000 square feet and more than 100 people involved, it makes for a truly unique and captivating shopping experience.

Sea Hive sells items such as jewelry, furniture, lighting, art, clothing, home decor, collectibles, records, cassettes, cd’s, hand-poured soy candles, natural skincare and bath products, new and vintage toys, Star Wars collectibles, Legos, comics, Pokémon and baseball cards, musical instruments, indoor and outdoor plants, ceramics, gifts, greeting cards, and more.
Also parked at the Sea Hive is the Coddiwomple Coffee cart. “Coddiwomple” means to travel with a purpose towards a vague destination. They are serving up coffee, tea, and small bites.
The Sea Hive & Coddiwomple Coffee are located at 1555 South Coast Highway.
