Succulent Coffee Opens In Downtown Oceanside

The new open-air coffee spot located on the back patio of The Brick Hotel debuted Thursday with locals eager to welcome its return.

OCEANSIDE, CA — The original Succulent Cafe opened back in 2013 at the Bunker House and soon became a local favorite. A decade later, owner Peter Loyola just opened Succulent Coffee at The Brick Hotel, the historic 1800s-era building that was restored into a boutique hotel.

Much like the original cafe, the new location offers an exceptional coffee menu in a relaxed open-air space surrounded by succulents. Due to size constraints, the new Succulent Coffee will not offer food, although Peter stated he will likely add pastries to the menu. In the meantime, guests are welcome to bring food from any of the nearby restaurants to enjoy with their coffee.

Succulent Coffee is the latest establishment to join The Brick Hotel venue which also includes the Q&A Restaurant & Oyster Bar and the Cococabana Rooftop Bar located inside the hotel. Plus, Frankies Lounge located next door and Stone Brewery located behind the Brick, just beyond the Succulent patio. The combination of all these food and drink options connected to The Brick Hotel makes it a fun and unique destination in downtown O!
