Suspect Sought In Fatal Hit-And-Run Crash In San Diego's North County

BONSALL, CA — Authorities sought the public's help Wednesday in identifying a hit-and-run driver who fatally struck a pedestrian in northern San Diego County.

A man was struck around 12:35 a.m. Tuesday by a vehicle headed northbound on Interstate 15, south of Old Highway 395 in Bonsall, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Investigators believe the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run crash might have been a Mazda that was left with damage to the left front-end and undercarriage.

Authorities asked anyone with information about the suspect or vehicle to call the CHP Oceanside area office at 760-643-3400.
