3. Jill Witkowski from San Diego Coastkeeper will speak about the region's water supply at 12:30 p.m. for the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center's monthly senior lecture. 1875 El Prado, San Diego.
4. The North County-based Coast Law Group has been named #23 in Outside Magazine's Best Places to Work 2013 feature: "At this law firm, which is within walking distance of the coast, the surfboard-stuffed gear room gets utilized as much as the conference room," the magazine wrote about them.
