OCEANSIDE, CA — A pair of cold winter storms are expected to bring rain, mountain snow and gusty winds this week to San Diego County, prompting a wind advisory for the coastal areas, including Oceanside.
A wind advisory will be in effect from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday for the coastal areas, as the first storm arrives to the region, according to the National Weather Service. Another storm system is predicted for this weekend.
Northwest winds from 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph are expected in the area, according to the National Weather Service. Forecasters warned gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could also be blown down.
