5 Arrests Made In Shooting That Killed 13-Year-Old OC Boy, Injured 3 Teens
A 15-year-old boy was among those arrested in connection with the September shooting, police say.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — Police have arrested four men and a 15-year-old in connection with a September shooting that left a 13-year-old boy dead and three other teenagers wounded, Santa Ana Police officers said Friday.
The shooting happened on Sept. 8 around 8:19 p.m. near the 400 block of South Susan Street, where officers found an unresponsive 13-year-old with a gunshot wound to his upper torso.
The teen was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not identified by police.

The shooting injured three other teens, ages 14, 15 and 16.
A three-month investigation led by the SAPD identified five suspects: Martin Eusebio, 20; Joaquin Uvalle, 19; Angel Diaz, 19; Dan Mejia, 29; and a 15-year-old juvenile whose name was not released due to his age.

According to investigators, the group drove into rival gang territory and opened fire, striking the four victims.
All five suspects were arrested on Dec. 3, with the four adults being booked into Santa Ana Jail, while the teenaged suspect was taken to Juvenile Hall.
