50 MPH Winds Expected For Inland Orange County
A high wind advisory was extended for parts of inland Orange County in anticipation of powerful Santa Ana winds through Wednesday morning.
ORANGE COUNTY, CA — As strong Santa Ana winds stick around in Southern California over the week, the National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for parts of inland Orange County.
Residents can expect northeast winds ranging from 15 to 25 miles per hour, with gusts up to 50 miles per hour expected.
The High Wind Warning starts at 4 p.m. Tuesday and will remain in place until 10 a.m. Wednesday. The wind advisory affects the San Bernardino and Riverside County Valleys, the Inland Empire, the Santa Ana Mountains and Foothills, the San Bernardino County Mountains and Orange County inland areas.

Residents should be prepared for damaging winds blowing over trees and power lines and should take down any outdoor items that may blow away in the wind.
"Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles," the weather service reported. "Use caution if you must drive."
