Anaheim Police Asking For Help In Finding Attempted Abduction Suspect
A man tried to force a 13-year-old girl into a car in Anaheim on Thursday in broad daylight, according to police.
ANAHEIM, CA — The Anaheim Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding a man suspected of trying to for a girl into a car on Thursday.
Police said the man was about 25, Hispanic and had a thin build and thin short hair. He was wearing a gray-colored hooded sweatshirt at the time.
The man's car is said to be a white pickup truck with a gray tool rack in the bed, according to police. The truck is possibly a Toyota Tundra or Ford F150.

Anaheim police said a 13-year-old girl was walking home from Dale Junior High School in the 2600 block of West Ball Road on Thursday when around 2:45 p.m., a man sitting in a parked truck got out of the car and tried to shove her into the passenger side.
Bystanders were around at the time and called police, leading the man to let go of the girl and drive away, authorities said. The girl was uninjured in the abduction attempt.
