At Canyon High School, Head Custodian Silviano is more than just a staff member- he is a true everyday hero. With a deep commitment to excellence, Silviano goes above and beyond to set the standard for the custodial team, leading by example and embodying what it means to take pride in one's work. Keeping the school clean and safe is only the beginning of Silviano's role. Known to be Mr. Fix-it and Mr. Problem Solver, he tackles every task- big or small- with care, precision, and a positive attitude. Whether it's fixing a broken fixture, responding to an urgent need, or lending a hand at school events, Silviano is always ready to step in and support the Canyon community. Arriving before dawn each day, he performs a full walkthrough of the campus, ensuring that everything is safe, clean, and ready for students and staff. His dedication, attention to detail, and work ethic are nothing short of inspiring. Beyond his technical skills, Silviano is respected and admired for his character. He is kind, humble, respectful, and always willing to help. His presence makes a difference every day, and his impact is felt by everyone—students, staff, administration, parents, and even the School District leadership. Silviano is not just keeping the school running—he’s helping make it a place where people feel safe, valued, and proud to belong.
