Disneyland Resort: No Face Masks For Vaccinated Guests
With California's statewide mask mandate ending, "The Happiest Place on Earth" is changing its rules for vaccinated park visitors.

ANAHEIM, CA — With California's statewide mask mandate expiring this week, vaccinated guests will no longer have to wear face coverings when visiting Disneyland and Disney California Adventure starting Thursday.
Parks officials announced Tuesday face masks will be optional for vaccinated guests when visiting any outdoor or indoor attraction, restaurant or store. It is not yet known if vaccinated workers will be required to remain masked at the resort.
The change in Disneyland Resort's masking requirements comes on the heels of California's statewide mandate, which expires Tuesday. The mandate required people to wear a mask indoors regardless of vaccination status.

Face masks are still expected for unvaccinated guests or those not yet fully vaccinated whenever they are indoors at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. However, park officials said Disneyland guests won't be required to show their vaccination records.
Masks will be required for all guests when riding in any enclosed park transportation like buses, monorails and the Disney Skyliner gondolas, park officials said.

All visitors ages two and older still are required to wear face masks regardless of vaccination status through the end of Feb. 16, Disneyland officials said.
For people wearing masks while visiting the theme parks, Disneyland Resort issued guidance on the type of face-covering a person should wear.
A mask must be worn snugly against the side of a person's face, be made of at least two layers of material and secured with ties or ear loops. A mask should fully cover a person's nose and chin.
