Downed Utility Pole Wreaks Traffic Havoc In OC: Caltrans

BREA, CA — A downed utility pole is wreaking traffic havoc in Orange County, the Brea Police Department reported Tuesday.

According to officers, Caltrans is working to clear a downed utility pole near the county line in Carbon Canyon.

There is no estimated time for the completion of the effort, and traffic in the area is experiencing heavy congestion with alternating lane closures, police said.

Residents were urged to avoid the area.
