Driver In Fatal Orange County Crash Arrested, DUI Suspected
The driver of a Mazda Protege died at the scene at the city of Orange. His name was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
ORANGE, CA — A suspected DUI driver killed another motorist in a crash Sunday in the city of Orange.
The crash happened about 4 p.m. at the intersection of West Sycamore Avenue and North Main Street, police told the Orange County Register.
The man driving a Mazda Protege died at the scene. His name was withheld pending notification of next of kin.

The driver of a Honda Accord -- identified by police as 23-year-old Antonio Sanchez Contreras of Los Angeles -- was arrested on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter while driving intoxicated, police told the paper. He was not injured in the crash.
Investigators told the paper the Mazda was in a left turn lane when it was rear-ended by Contreras, who was speeding.
