Driver Reportedly Leads Police On Chase From Lakewood To Anaheim
It's unknown how the car pursuit with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department began.
ANAHEIM, CA — A motorist who may have been impaired was taken into custody Thursday after leading authorities on a chase from the Lakewood area to Anaheim, where he stopped in a parking lot and surrendered.
The chase began late Thursday morning in Lakewood, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, although the exact circumstances that prompted the pursuit were not immediately known.
Authorities chased the driver, who was behind the wheel of a white four-door sedan, to the Garden Grove and Anaheim area. At times, the driver ran red lights and on the wrong side of roadways.

About 12:25 p.m., the motorist pulled into a parking lot at Orangewood Avenue and Euclid Street in Anaheim and stopped in a parking space. Deputies pulled up behind him and arrested him at gunpoint. Two passengers got out of the vehicle and were also detained.
