Here are the top stories today in Orange County:

1. With more rain storms coming and homeless deaths skyrocketing, Orange County has no place to shelter the homeless. County officials said they are "years behind schedule" building housing to "help get people off the streets." The county has operated "open-access" cold-weather armory shelters "funded by federal grant money" for the past 30 years, but this winter Santa Ana has not opened its armory, asking the county to share the responsibility for the homeless population. The Santa Ana armory remains closed despite a court order for the armory to remain open "through March 31, 2023.” (Voice of OC)
2. Now's your chance to sublet the Los Angeles Chargers' headquarters in Orange County. If you need "showers, a massage room, a player's lounge, a draft room and a room reserved for scouting activities," as well as a "spa, cafe, weight room, video room, office space and outdoor meeting space" in Costa Mesa, this may be the right space for you. 3. A Delta Airlines flight was halted at John Wayne Airport when smoke was seen. Delta Airlines' Flight 447 to Atlanta was about to take off around 1:25 p.m. Tuesday when "it reported smoke coming from the Boeing 757’s right engine..." The plane was towed back to the gate, passengers were evacuated and booked on other flights, and the airport fire crew responded. Thankfully, no injuries were reported. (AviationPros)
4. Where was the most rain in OC after Tuesday's storm? After a two-day deluge of rain, for now, OC has a break in the weather. How much rain fell in Orange County? According to OC Public Works' website, "South Orange County's foothill communities and the northern-most part of the county received the heaviest rainfall."
