Food Truck Driver Ejected From Vehicle In Fatal OC Crash
The 67-year-old driver of a food vending truck died Tuesday after being ejected from his vehicle during a crash.

SANTA ANA, CA — A 67-year-old man died Tuesday after being ejected from his food vending truck during a crash in Santa Ana, authorities said.
Santa Ana police officers were dispatched after receiving multiple reports of a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian in the area of Broadway Avenue and Warner Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers found that a driver of a food vending truck had been ejected from his vehicle, and the truck had rolled over on top of him.

The driver, identified as Richardson Ayala of Anaheim, was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to police, a preliminary investigation found the food vending truck traveling westbound on Warner Avenue when the driver tried to make a left-hand turn into oncoming traffic.

The food vending truck was hit by a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction, causing the food truck to overturn and eject Ayala.
