Homicide Suspect Sought By Police After 67-Year-Old Dies In Shooting

Garden Grove police officers asked for the public's help Monday finding the person who killed a 67-year-old man last month.

GARDEN GROVE, CA — A 67-year-old man was found shot in the upper body in a largely industrial area last month, and police sought the public's help in finding the killer.

Mario Barrios, of Garden Grove, was gunned down at about 4 p.m. Sept. 21 in the 12600 block of Westminster Avenue, according to police.

He was found fatally shot in the upper body in a parking lot, according to Garden Grove Police Department Sgt. Nick Jenson. He was taken to an area hospital, where he later died.
