Hygiene Items Sought By Orange County Rescue Mission

The homeless services organization is seeking donations of items like toothbrushes, soap, underwear and shampoo.

TUSTIN, CA — The Orange County Rescue Mission is seeking donations of hygiene products it says are "critically needed" for formerly people living at the organization's transitional housing facilities.

More than 170 men, women, children and veterans helped by the mission will receive the products, according to Jim Palmer, the organization's president.

Palmer said the "health and comfort" of the residents who live at the Village of Hope, Tustin Veterans Outpost and Double R Ranch facilities are a top priority for the organization.
