Jonathan loved to give back to the community and has been volunteering for Segerstrom’s Studio for a year, helping out with music classes for nonverbal communicators aged 4-8. He also teaches balloon twisting workshops at the Anaheim Public Library to young elementary students as a way of teaching them a new skill and to encourage them to be balloon twisting entrepreneurs. He has also revived Anaheim Public Library’s Lego robotics workshops by diving in to teach elementary school students how to program the Lego robots. The library hasn’t been able to provide this program since COVID shut it down and Jonathan jumped right in.

He is a California 2024 state champion Vex robotics programmer who made it to the Vex World Championship 2024. He is a robotics mentor for Tustin Public Schools Foundation and is on the board of student leaders this year. He has copyrighted his children’s book, bringing awareness to absence seizures that mirrors his own experience with the condition. The book is titled Oliver’s Floating Moments and will soon be published on Barnes and Noble.
