Love Is In The Air At The Orange County Rescue Mission
The rescue mission recently hosted a Valentine's Day-themed craft event for youths staying at the Village of Hope.
TUSTIN, CA — Youths at the Village of Hope transitional housing center in Tustin got to spread some love recently with a special Valentine's Day-themed crafts event.
The children got the chance to make their parents and other loved ones hand-crafted Valentine's Day cards.
The Village of Hope, part of the Orange County Rescue Mission, is a transitional housing center for formerly unhoused people and families with children, said Katie Haga, a spokesperson for the organization.

"The Rescue Mission hosts craft events like these throughout the year for the young residents as part of its mission to create a safe and nurturing space for children while their parents or caregivers are completing the organization's two-year recovery program," Haga said.
