Man Arrested In OC Drive-Thru Stabbing That Left Man Dead
A 35-year-old man suspected in a fatal stabbing in the drive-thru of a Santa Ana restaurant was arrested, authorities announced Thursday.
SANTA ANA, CA — A 35-year-old man suspected in a fatal stabbing in the drive-thru of a Santa Ana restaurant was arrested, authorities announced Thursday.
Santa Ana Police officers were dispatched about 4:40 p.m. Saturday to Pollo Campero at 2330 S. Bristol St. to investigate a report of a man suffering from a stab wound on the ground, police said.
The victim was identified as 43-year-old Christopher Abrego, 43, of Bakersfield. He was taken to a hospital with multiple stab wounds and was later pronounced dead, police said.

Homicide detectives identified Diego Sartori of Anaheim as the suspected stabber and located him Wednesday at a motel in Costa Mesa.
He was taken into custody and booked at the city jail on suspicion of murder, police said.

"The investigation revealed that Sartori and the victim ... were involved in an altercation before the victim was stabbed and killed," according to Santa Ana police.
