Man Behind Bars For Possession Of Child Porn In OC

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — A 37-year-old man suspected of possession child pornography in Orange County was arrested Wednesday under a search warrant.

The warrant was executed Wednesday in the 400 block of South Poplar Street in Santa Ana, according to the Santa Ana Police Department.

Multiple electronic devices were seized as evidence related to the investigation, police said.

Juan Diego Rodriguez of Santa Ana was identified as a person of interest after a civilian investigator from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force discovered he was allegedly downloading sexually inappropriate content of children, police said.

He was booked into the Santa Ana Jail on suspicion of felony possession of child pornography.

"The Santa Ana Police Department is proud to be a member of the Los Angeles Regional ICAC Task Force, which is dedicated to the investigation and prosecution of individuals involved in the abuse and exploitation of children via the internet," police said in a statement.
