Man Charged With Manslaughter, DUI In Fatal I-5 Crash In Tustin
The crash occurred early Sunday in the southbound lanes of the I-5 freeway near the transition to the Costa Mesa (55) Freeway in Tustin.
TUSTIN, CA — A 21-year-old man was charged with manslaughter and drunk driving Tuesday in a wrong-way crash that killed a 22-year-old woman on the Santa Ana (5) Freeway in Tustin.
Dylan Erric James Robinson was charged with gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, driving under the influence of alcohol causing injury and DUI with a blood-alcohol content of .08% or more causing injury, all felonies, according to court records. He also faces sentencing enhancements for allegedly inflicting great bodily injury on two victims.
Robinson was accused of killing Reinne J. Lim of Anaheim in a crash that happened around 2:10 a.m. Sunday in the southbound lanes of the freeway near the transition to the Costa Mesa (55) Freeway in Tustin, according to the California Highway Patrol.

According to the criminal complaint, the other victim was identified as Tommy L.
The complaint alleges the driver had a blood-alcohol content of .17, more than twice the legal limit of .08.
