Man Pleads Guilty To Sexually Assaulting 3 Anaheim Girls

SANTA ANA, CA — A 56-year-old man pleaded guilty Wednesday to sexually assaulting three girls in Anaheim he is related to in crimes that date back to 2002, and was immediately sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Armando Estrada Gomez pleaded guilty to continuous sexual abuse of a child, lewd or lascivious acts with a minor younger than 14, and lewd or lascivious acts with a minor, all felonies.

One victim came forward to police on Jan. 20 of last year.

One girl was molested when she was younger than 10, and the molestation of the two other girls started sometime before they were 13, according to Sgt. Shane Carringer of the Anaheim Police Department.

Two of the victims are now adults, Carringer said.
