Man Shot During Fight At Laguna Hills 7-Eleven
The Orange County Sheriff's Department said the shooting "appears to be an isolated incident."
LAGUNA HILLS, CA — A man was sent to the hospital early Thursday morning after being shot outside a 7-Eleven in Laguna Hills, the Orange County Sheriff's Department said.
The man, described as being Hispanic and in his 30s, is alive, but his current condition is unknown, the sheriff's department said.
Sheriff's deputies were called to the 7-Eleven at 25361 Alicia Parkway around 1:45 a.m. about shots fired at the store, authorities said.

Authorities found that two men had been arguing in front of the store when one of the men took out a handgun and shot the other man, the sheriff's department said. It's unknown what led to the fight, authorities said.
The suspected shooter, also described as a Hispanic man in his 30s, fled from the 7-Eleven before deputies arrived, the sheriff's department said.

"This appears to be an isolated incident, and the investigation is ongoing," the sheriff's department said on Twitter.
