SANTA ANA, CA — A man was killed Sunday evening after being hit by multiple cars in a Santa Ana street, police said.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation, but the Santa Ana Police Department said alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the incident. The department is withholding the man's identity.

The collision happened around 9:47 p.m. in the northbound traffic lanes in the 2400 block of Tustin Avenue, police said.
