Multi-Car Crash Cleared After Blocking 5 Freeway Traffic In Anaheim

The crash was reported around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, and traffic was snarled on a portion of the northbound 5 Freeway.

ANAHEIM, CA — A Sigalert was issued for a portion of the northbound 5 Freeway in Anaheim Wednesday afternoon after a multi-car collision blocked all lanes of traffic.

The collision was reported around 3:30 p.m. near Brookhurst Street and La Palma Avenue exit of the freeway, the Sigalert said. Traffic was briefly backed up to the Lincoln Avenue exit.

The crash was cleared by 4:30 p.m., the Sigalert said.

At least four cars were involved in the collision, according to the California Highway Patrol's traffic log.

Several people were injured from the collision, the CHP said.
