Here are the top stories in Orange County today:
- Two suspects were arrested in Orange County for stealing almost a half million dollars in merchandise. The California Highway Patrol identified the theft suspects as Jesus Ortiz, 48, from Lynwood, and Yolanda De La Rosa, 49, from Anaheim. Investigators saw a number of suspects delivering "suspected stolen property" to an Anaheim apartment. After getting a search warrant, authorities "discovered 14,018 stolen items worth over $463,746.27" in three locations. (KTLA Los Angeles)
- A Los Alamitos man died after the vehicle he was driving crashed into a concrete wall in Westminster. Responding officers found Jace A. Remington, 44, dead at the crash site in the area of Bolsa Chica Road and Rancho Road at 10:22 p.m. Tuesday. Authorities said he was the only person in the vehicle and "the cause of the crash is unknown." Witnesses are asked to contact the police. (Orange County Tribune)

- Disney is testing a "fast-casual table service" concept at its new Earl of Sandwich Tavern in Downtown Disney. The hot sandwich eatery opened on Tuesday next to the temporary Earl of Sandwich grab-and-go. Both restaurants are in the building that used to house La Brea Bakery, which closed in January. (Orange County Patch)
- American Airlines will run new flights from Charlotte, NC to Orange County! Daily flights from Charlotte Douglas International Airport to John Wayne Airport will run for the busy six-week summer season, July 5 to Aug. 14 , but the airline said it "may decide to extend the schedule if the service performs well." (The Points Guy)
