- Another top OC public health official is resigning. Dr. Margaret Bredehoft, who was the county’s chief of public health services during most of the COVID-19 pandemic, announced she will leave the role on Friday, Feb 10 to spend more time with family. - A chemical spill at an Irvine apartment "prompted a hazardous materials investigation Thursday evening."
