TUSTIN, CA — A man was hospitalized Friday afternoon when his pickup truck went off a road and tumbled down an embankment in Tustin.

The Tustin Police Department is investigating the crash's cause, the Orange County Fire Authority said on Twitter. The agency did not disclose the extent of the man's injuries.

The crash was reported just before 1 p.m. near the area of Jamboree and Pioneer roads, the fire agency said. First-responders extracted the man from his car "utilizing a low-angle rescue rope rescue," according to OCFA's tweet.
