Riders Left Dangling Mid-Air When Knott's Berry Farm Ride Malfunctions: Report
Dozens of park guests were suspended mid-air for several minutes when a popular ride malfunctioned at Knott's Berry Farm in Orange County.
ORANGE COUNTY, CA — A popular thrill ride at Knott's Berry Farm malfunctioned this weekend, leaving dozens of riders suspended in mid-air for several minutes, KTLA 5 reported.
According to the report, video from witnesses showed the Sol Spin ride had stopped suddenly, leaving at least 20 riders dangling in the air.
The ride, which was built in 2017, sends guests up to six stories in the air as the turn 360 degrees on one of six spinning arms, according to the park's website.
