Stabbing Wounds 1 In Fullerton; Suspect, 26, Arrested In OC
A 26-year-old man was charged Wednesday with stabbing a man in Fullerton, authorities said.
FULLERTON, CA — A 26-year-old man was charged Wednesday with stabbing a man in Fullerton, authorities said.
The stabbing was reported at 1 a.m. Monday near West Houston and South Roosevelt avenues, according to the Fullerton Police Department.
Within a half-hour of the stabbing, police arrested Alexis Jesus Gutierrez. According to investigators, the victim and the suspect appeared to know one another.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was expected to survive his wounds, police said.
Gutierrez was charged with attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a metal knuckles, all felonies. He also faces sentencing enhancements for inflicting great bodily injury on the victim and the personal use of a deadly weapon.
