  1. An SUV plunged from a hospital parking garage, and the driver was hospitalized. The SUV plunged off a four-story parking garage at the Children’s Health of Orange County hospital in Orange just after 8 a.m. on Wednesday, authorities said. The driver, believed to be an elderly woman, "was rushed to a local trauma center, an Orange Fire Department spokesman told KTLA." (KTLA Los Angeles)
  2. Sadly, a pedestrian was killed on an Orange County freeway in Westminster on Wednesday. The pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on the Garden Grove (22) westbound at about 5:15 a.m. "and died at the scene," according to the California Highway Patrol. (2UrbanGirls)
  3. The top lawyer of the embattled OC Green Power Agency, Ryan Baron, resigned before board members were "about to discuss firing him." His abrupt resignation came after "Irvine City Councilwoman Kathleen Treseder threatened to pull the city out of the OC Power Authority unless Baron was replaced." (Voice of OC)
