Transformer Box Fire Knocks Out Power For Some OC Residents
A fire in an electrical transformer box knocked out power to some Fullerton residents Thursday night.
ORANGE COUNTY, CA -- A fire in an electrical transformer box knocked out power to some Suthern California Edison residents in Fullerton, authorities said Friday.
Firefighters responded about 11 p.m. Thursday to the intersection of Walnut Avenue and Lemon Street, near the downtown Fullerton train station, and found an SCE circuit breaker box on fire, according to the Fullerton Fire Department.
The fire was quickly extinguished and power was restored around midnight.

It was unknown how many SCE customers were affected by the outage.
