Ukrainian Family In H.B. Wracked With Agony Over Russian Invasion
The Los Angeles Times reports a Huntington Beach family is on edge whenever they receive alerts of rocket attacks in Ukraine.

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA — For a Ukrainian family in Huntington Beach, cell phone alerts bring a wave of anxiety and agony, according to a report from the Los Angeles Times.
Ganna Hovey has an app on her phone notifying her whenever her hometown of Kharkiv, Ukraine gets bombed by Russian rockets. While she and her 7-year-old son are safe 6,000 miles away from the fighting, Hovey's parents remain in the country under constant danger, the Times reported.
She told the paper it's agonizing whenever she hers the notifications, as she wonders whether her parents are safe.
